Canada announces a plan to access the Madrid Protocol

The Director General of the Canadian Trademark Office has announced Canada's future accession to the Madrid Protocol.
After years of hard work, Canada is finally close to implementing the regulatory and IT requirements necessary to access the Protocol.
Canadian Trademark Office Director General, Mr. Mesmin Pierre, said: "We expect to join the treaty in early 2019".
